Flashback - L7

Times flies, kids: FLASHBACK!  In the fifties, "L7" was a slang term used to indicate that a person was "square", which meant straitlaced and uncool, the term coming from the act of touching the thumb of each of one's hands to the forefinger of each of the other's hands to form a square shape.  (Try it a couple of ways, and you'll see the "L7.")  Anyway, the band L7 was the opposite of uncool; it was METAL.  I mean, the ladies' music was actually kinda punk/grunge, but it was also so heavy that it falls pretty squarely into at least the stoner category.  But of course, it speaks for itself: let's go with "Freak Magnet" today - CRANK IT!
