Welcome to Ton of Metal, kids. Here you will find a heavy music video posted every Saturday, as well as short (sometimes medium-to-long) commentary on the great bands that I have gone through the pain and disappointment of discovering so you don't have to. Also, every fourth Saturday, I'll post a trip down memory lane that I like to call Flashback, as well as the occasional theme month. I do all the work - all you have to do is subscribe at the bottom, or click in every Saturday and CRANK IT!

Unicorn Sighting - Seven
Ok kids, so, back in December I posted a video by Byzantine (still one of my favorite things.) That day I talked some smack about the rarity of finding a progressive metal band that has the curious feature of being enjoyable to listen to, and I mentioned that Byzantine was actually the second such mythical creature I had uncovered. There is a band out of Illinois simply called Seven. They're necessarily not very mainstream, and they have a new record called End of the Circle; as you'll hear, they deserve success, so tell your friends (that is, if somehow you have friends who don't already read this blog every week.) Seven is an impossibly awesome band. That's enough words; put on your diapers and CRANK IT, kids - it's The Burning, from the previous record, Cymatics - you're welcome.
